A set of three large scale studio sketches by Belgian artist Rudi Baete (1950-1984). Statue studies, offered as a set of three.
Each pencil study is on loose F20 paper which has a warm aged tone but all are in good condition.
Each piece has its own character - presumably based on classical and renaissance sculptures, and each is signed in the top right corner by the artist.
Sold as a full set, they will look incredible framed but leaving that choice to the buyer.
They are fairly large worksthat will bring huge presence and minimalist style to any space.
They are on Figure 20 traditional ‘French System’ format paper, a size specifically created for European artists to accomodate figure sketchin with a bust composition and room for background space.
