David Marshall mixed metal tray in heavy solid brass and cast aluminium in Brutalist style.
This piece is extremely tactile, well-made and imposing. As with all David Marshall pieces, the item is both practical and a piece of art in and of itself. The tray has been cast with David Marshall’s signature, as well has having the original suede backing, bearing the makers mark.
There are two beautifully crafted handles either side in brass which frame the light-catching aluminium centre.
David Marshall is a Scottish designer who relocated to Spain, inspired by the light and scenery. His metal works from the 1970s have become iconic and are now highly collectible pieces.
