Wonderful ceramic cockerel.
This piece is utterly charming. A hand-modelled ceramic item, the cockerel has been glazed in white. He has a very expressive face and gorgeous form.
Modelled onto a sturdy hollowed base, he is the perfect size for catching the eye. With individually rendered feathers, a proud cone standing on his head and curious eyes.
Likely made in Tunisia in the 20th century. There have been two repairs to his tail feathers but otherwise in lovely condition.
