Very much in the style beloved of Coco Chanel, this super 1960s gilt tole chandelier is a bit of a show stopper.
Delicately wrought leaves and flowers in gold and white metal make up the form of the piece, with hand formed leaves and white enamel flowers, scrolling arms
Wired for electric lighting and ready to be installed, it has six arms for lightbulbs, as well as a the original chain and gold metal canopy fixing for attaching to the ceiling.
It has a nice vintage patina, with some minor marks consistent with age and it in good working order.
Sourced in France and artisan made, it speaks of a bygone French era.
